64th Annual Over-The-Line

Games start at 7:30 a.m. promptly and continue until dark on both weekends of Over-The-Line.

TGIF Concerts in the Park

Tonight enjoy Carlsbad’s popular TGIF Concerts in the Parks series. For over 30 years, the City of Carlsbad has presented live music throughout the city. This year, nine concerts will be presented in four beautiful parks in Carlsbad.

With a variety of food vendors for all your picnic needs, hands-on art activities for all ages, green grass for hanging out with friends and family, top quality live music and a dance floor to boogie the night away, TGIF has everything you need for a great night out in Carlsbad.

Summer Movies in the Park

Summer Movies in the Park is a series of free outdoor movie screenings in community parks and recreation centers throughout San Diego.

Movies begin at dusk, which is about 15 minutes after sunset. People are encouraged to come early for picnics and activities.

Friday Night Liberty

Mission Federal ArtWalk

The 33rd annual Mission Federal ArtWalk returns to Little Italy in San Diego this weekend. Stroll over 15 blocks filled with artwork from over 350 local, national, and international artists on Saturday. The weekend-long event is recognized as one of San Diego’s premier arts and cultural event and the largest fine art festival in Southern California. The free family-friendly event also features live music, street food, interactive art activities and KidsWalk.

2016 Chula Vista Starlight Parade

The 2016 Chula Vista Starlight Parade will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 with Frosty’s Snow Hill opening at noon, followed by the parade beginning at 6 p.m.

The famous Chula Vista Starlight Parade is San Diego County’s largest nighttime parade, filled with twinkling lights, holiday décor and activities for the whole family to enjoy! From noon to 5 p.m., children can take FREE sled rides on REAL SNOW down Frosty’s Snow Hill. And the whole family can dine at Snack Alley on Park Way, or at one of the many eateries along Third Avenue.

Holiday Tree Lighting and Winter Wonderland Festival

This holiday season, sidewalks in Little Italy will be filled with holiday cheer for the 18th Annual Little Italy Tree Lighting and Christmas Village on Saturday. Families, friends and visitors will be able to experience two Tree Lightings for the first time this year, a Christmas Village with seasonal vendors, festive décor, live music and entertainment, holiday treats, Santa Claus and more.

Fallbrook Tree Lighting

Carlsbad Village Night of Lights

Kick off this holiday season in downtown Carlsbad at the inaugural Carlsbad Village Night of Lights. The night will include live jazz and orchestral holiday music by the Carlsbad High School choir, contemporary and classic holiday songs by the McDonald quartet, merchant hospitality including holiday treats and beverages and lots of shopping specials.
