Old House Fair

The 20th annual Old House Fair is South Park’s historic home tour bringing together vintage home specialists, historic preservation enthusiasts, home owners and history lovers in celebration of the historic homes and character of our neighborhood.  This year we celebrate South Park’s newly designated historic district – bounded by 28th Street to the west, Elm Street to the north, 31st Street to the east and A Street to the south.

Annual Fiesta do Espirito Santo

Celebrate Portuguese Heritage by joining in the city’s oldest ethnic festival, Festa do Espirito Santo, that commemorates Portugal’s Queen St. Isabel. In San Diego, the Festa do Espírito Santo is the oldest ethnic religious celebration, dating back to the time when the first families settled here in 1884 and was formally organized in 1910.

Escondido Grand Ave Festival

One of El Cajon’s premier events, our Dinner & a Concert Series is back again this year in the center of Downtown El Cajon. Dinner & A Concert is a weekly concert and dance hosted by Downtown El Cajon Business Partners, performed on the Prescott Promenade, which is surrounded by a variety of restaurants. Thousands of people from all over San Diego County arrive to see and listen to many of our local bands and musicians. Second Saturday Art Lesson

Tints, tones, and shades, oh my! Immerse yourself in the world of shamrocks, rolling hills, flowers and leaves as we celebrate the season. In this lesson you’ll learn how mix paints to create new hues to express space, depth and form in your spring-time scenes.

Seas ‘n’ Greetings

The magic of the holidays meets the magic of the underwater world at Birch Aquarium during Seas ‘n’ Greetings, a month-long holiday celebration featuring SEAsonal activities for the whole family.

From December 1 to 31, Birch Aquarium  is transformed into a holiday wonderland. For the 60th year, Encinitas will kick off the holiday season at the 2017 Encinitas Holiday Parade, presented by Lazy Acres Natural Market on Saturday, December 2.  Thousands of people will be on floats, on foot, in cars, and marching in bands while tens of thousands cheer them along the Parade route along Coast Highway 101.  The nighttime parade theme for 2017 is “Celebrating the Arts!”

Winter Wonderland Festival

Every year, the Center brings the North Pole to the heart of Escondido.  Children will have the chance to meet Santa, play in real snow, decorate Christmas cookies, see live reindeer, enjoy holiday-themed entertainers, and more!
