The Grape Drop

Watch the Temecula grape drop at Town Square Park twice: once with the East Coast at 9 p.m. and once with the West Coast at midnight. Plus, there’ll be free activities for kids, food vendors, and live music by Danielle Arribe 6-6:45 p.m., Frienz Band 7-8 p.m., City Beat Band 8:30-10 p.m. and Midnight Ride 10:30 p.m,-12:15 a.m. Radio host Mama Mia from 101.3 will emcee.

Honda Family Night Out: Pajama Jam

The night includes New Year’s-themed art activities, games, a dance jam, photo booth, catered dinner and our popular countdown balloon drop. Plus, parents get a free drink ticket.

Mannheim Steamroller Christmas

The show features classic Christmas hits from Mannheim Steamroller all with dazzling multimedia effects in an intimate setting. The spirit of the season comes alive with the signature sound of Mannheim Steamroller.

The group’s first Christmas album, “Mannheim Steamroller Christmas,” was released in 1994 and revolutionized the Holiday Season music category.

Holiday Food Truck Festival

For five days and evenings between Christmas and New Year’s Day, Dec. 26 to 30, the annual Holiday Food Truck Festival serves up gourmet food from 15 of San Diego’s top food trucks, along with free live entertainment and fun activities for families.

Food trucks will be in the park beginning at noon, with live entertainment and other activities starting at 2 p.m. For a listing of food trucks for each date, the entertainment schedule and other event details, visit our website.

Celebrate Old Glory at La Mesa’s Flag Day Parade this Saturday. Pre-parade entertainment by middle school bands at 9am, with the parade beginning at 10am. There will be free ice cream, as well. This year’s grand marshal is local historian and author Jim Newland.

El Cajon Dinner and a Concert

One of El Cajon’s premier events, our Dinner & a Concert Series is back again this year in the center of Downtown El Cajon. Dinner & A Concert is a weekly concert and dance hosted by Downtown El Cajon Business Partners, performed on the Prescott Promenade, which is surrounded by a variety of restaurants. Thousands of people from all over San Diego County arrive to see and listen to many of our local bands and musicians. Join us Friday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for a great time and great food from our downtown restaurants.

The Wild West comes to life when the Old Town Gunfighters host other gunfight clubs for Western Days in Old Town Temecula. Zany skits, crazy old west costumed characters and a daily high noon shoot out and robbery of The Bank. Families will enjoy the old time music, calf roping instruction and kids will like the pony rides.

Pirate Days

Experience life as a pirate with scavenger hunts, knot-tying and sword fighting demos, games and more. A two day celebration for kids of all ages, will include kids costume contests, carnival games, cannon firings, weapon demonstrations, sword fights, scary stories, and a scavenger hunt for Pirate Treasure which ends at the Parrot Paradise.
