Grape Day Celebration

5K, Parade and Festival

Grape Day started in 1908 as a way to celebrate Escondido’s grape harvest and promote the city. It flourished until 1950 and was revived by the Escondido History Center in 1996. 2013 marks Escondido’s 125th Anniversary, and we hope you can join us for this festive day of food, actvities, entertainment and fun!

Escondido’s most historic event starts with a 5k fun run organized by the Sunrise Escondido Rotary Club.
