Here is a short list of New Year’s Eve activities that await you in San Diego.
Fireworks for the Whole Family
Make sure the whole family can enjoy the New Year Festivities with bed-time friendly fireworks shows. SeaWorld San Diego will ring in the new year over Mission Bay with fireworks at 8:50 PM. For those in the North County Coastal area, take the family to LEGOLAND California for an early evening fireworks show.
Make a reservation at one of these San Diego restaurants and ring in the New Year with palate-pleasing creations. Many restaurants have special holiday plans in store, including: The Shores Restaurant in La Jolla, the ocean-front Marine Room and Kelly’s, located at the Town and Country Resort.
A New Year’s Extravaganza
Looking for a night of music and dancing? How about music and dancing on board an aircraft carrier? The New Year’s Eve Gala aboard the USS Midway includes an open premium bar, elegant dinner buffet, dancing to the live music of The Big Daddy Orchestra.
Or, why not try the biggest of all the big nights. The annual Big Night San Diego New Year’s Eve gala is an extravagant 21-and-over celebration with 12 themed rooms, six dance floors, live bands, DJs and more. This all-inclusive party takes place at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel in downtown San Diego.
