Holiday Food Truck Festival
Eat, drink, and be merry in Balboa Park when the Holiday Food Truck Festival returns for five festive days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Experience the park’s colorful seasonal light displays as you sample a wide assortment of gourmet dishes from a dozen popular San Diego-area food trucks. Free live music and dance performances in the Plaza de Panama will provide additional family-friendly fun.

San Diego Tango Festival
The San Diego Tango Festival returns to town and offers you the option to dance into 2018 with a dance party that lasts for the entire night. Grab a partner and see how long you can stay on your feet.

Pajama Jam: Family New Year’s Party
On December 30, the Museum is kicking off their celebratory year with Pajama Jam, a new year’s party for the whole family.
One of their Honda Family Night Out events, this after-hours event provides families access to all three floors of the 50,000-square foot museum.

San Diego International Auto Show
The San Diego International Auto Show features an incredible variety of new vehicles under one roof, including over 400 vehicles from 40 global manufacturers.

Global Winter Wonderland: Circus of Light
This 17-acre holiday festival is in San Diego for the first time ever this season, up and running at SDCCU Stadium through Jan. 7, 2018. The family-friendly international celebration features the largest display of traditional Chinese lanterns outside of China, plus acrobatics performances, carnival rides, holiday-themed activities, games, food and shopping. The little ones can even write letters to Santa Claus and visit sections like Toyland, Candyland and the North Pole. Global Winter Wonderland opens daily at either 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. but is closed on some dates.
