It’s a cold and wet weekend in San Diego County, but thankfully there’s still lots to do!

Museum Month

Starting this Friday, get half-priced admission at over 40 museums countywide. Pick up a Museum Month discount pass in order to get the discounted pricing. The Museum Month discount pass can be picked up at over 75 library locations in the San Diego area. The pass is free and can be used to get half-price admission at more than 40 local museums in the month of February.

San Diego Jewish Film Festival

The San Diego Jewish Film Festival, presented by the San Diego Center for Jewish Culture (CJC), returns for its 29th anniversary February 7-17, 2019. The festival annually showcases a selection of the best contemporary Jewish-related films in multiple genres and aims to educate and illuminate the diverse Jewish experience through evocative, independent narrative and documentary films.

Chinese New Year Fair

Celebrate the Year of the Pig with 15,000 of your closest friends at the 2019 Chinese New Year Fair, taking place on February 16th & 17th (3rd Avenue and J Street) in San Diego’s historic Chinatown district!

We will have traditional and cultural entertainment all day long on both days, LION DANCES, kung fu, traditional instruments, classic Chinese dances, and so much more! We will also be featuring a very special Chinese Acrobatic performance on both days, so don’t miss out!

Circus Vargas

Circus Vargas – celebrating its 50th anniversary and the golden era of the circus in America – returns to San Diego bringing with it acrobats, daredevils and flying trapeze under the big top. The show runs through Feb. 18 at Westfield Mission Valley.

San Diego Fermentation Festival

This family-friendly festival at the Leichtag Commons in Encinitas (800 Ecke Ranch Rd.) celebrates fermented foods and drinks, and overall health and wellness. The events include demos, live music, a wellness pavilion with yoga classes and sound healing, a “Makers Market” boasting dozens of local vendors, and the 21+ “Ambrosia Garden” featuring tasters of beer, wine, mead, cider and more.

When: Sunday, Feb. 17 | 1 – 5pm
