Half-Off Admission to 40+ Museums

Arts, entertainment and culture collide for Macy’s Museum Month in San Diego. This February the San Diego Museum Council and Macy’s have teamed up again for Museum Month, giving patrons a chance to discover what’s new at more than 40 area museums with savings only seen once a year.

Participants can pick up a Museum Month Pass at any area Macy’s store to enjoy half-off admission to all of the participating museums through the entire month of February. Follow this link to find the Macy’s store nearest you

Dine Out Escondido! Restaurant Week is happening January 28 to February 3, 2018, at over 30 fantastic restaurants in historic downtown and all around town!

Chinese New Year Festival – Year of the Dog

House of China located in the International Cottages, Balboa Park is hosting it’s special Chinese New Year Festival. Come see Chinese Culture and performances at the festival. This is a family-friendly event and it is free to the public. There will be Chinese craft vendors along with Ethnic Specialty foods.

Viennese Nights: A Grand Victorian Ball

Come celebrate the music, the dances, and the romance of the Strauss Era at San Diego’s premier Viennese Ball. The Grand Pacific Waltz Orchestra will play authentic period music for waltzes, polkas, set dances, mazurkas, mixers, and more. Renowned dance mistress Joan Walton will precept. Light refreshments included.

Attire: Elegant evening wear required. Mid- to late-19th century encouraged.

Free Winemaking Demonstration At Curds And Wine

Join us to see just how easy it is to make your own wine, at home or on site at Curds and Wine. We will go through all of the basic steps of making wine from kits, from start to bottle. This will be an interactive demonstration, you will have an opportunity to take part in winemaking steps hands-on. This demonstration will take about 2 hours, and then you can start your own wine. Please RSVP for this demonstration online.
