Over 180 of San Diego County’s most delicious restaurants will offer three-course prix-fixe dinners for $20, $30, $40 or $50 and two-course prix-fixe lunches for only $10, $15 or $20.

Food Forest Festival

Come out in your gardening clothes, pick up a shovel and plant some trees for the first-ever Food Forest Festival. The festival honors Tu B’Shevat, the Jewish birthday of the trees. Anyone who wants to participate should be ready to dig, lift and bend for several hours. Admission is free.

San Diego Tap & Jazz Festival 2016

The second annual San Diego Tap & Jazz Dance Festival celebrates tap and jazz dancing with a weekend of lessons, dance jam sessions and showcases.

All dancers are welcome and classes are suitable for all ages and levels from first timers to advanced dancers. Classes range from Lindy Hop to tap technique and tap repertory. Students in the repertory classes will have the opportunity to dance in the final festival performance, which includes performances from all of the faculty.

Those who would rather watch a show than participate can head over to the White Box Theatre at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016.
