San Diego county events this weekend15th Annual Pet Day on the Bay

Take your pet on an 1-hour narrated cruise Information about more than 50 San Diego landmarks, with unparalleled photo and video opportunities, comfortable indoor and outdoor areas, close-up views of military ships and the San Diego skyline, and a chance to see marine animals and seabirds.

ONE-HOUR TOURS: 9:30 AM, 11:15 AM, AND 1:00 PM A portion of proceeds benefits the Helen Woodward Animal Center Boarding and photos will begin 1/2 hour prior to cruise times.

SDCCU Festival of Arts in North Park

This annual free festival includes local art, live music and dance performances, eco-friendly and hands-on art activities, shopping opportunities, food, live art, kids’ art and a celebration of local craft beer.

Old Town Temecula Western Days

The Wild West comes to life when the Old Town Gunfighters host other gunfight clubs for Western Days in Old Town Temecula. Zany skits, crazy old west costumed characters and a daily high noon shoot out and robbery of The Bank. Families will enjoy the old time music, calf roping instruction and kids will like the pony rides.

Pirate Days

Experience life as a pirate with scavenger hunts, knot-tying and sword fighting demos, games and more. A two day celebration for kids of all ages, will include kids costume contests, carnival games, cannon firings, weapon demonstrations, sword fights, scary stories, and a scavenger hunt for Pirate Treasure which ends at the Parrot Paradise.

When: May 16 & 17, 10am – 3pm
Where: Maritime Museum of San Diego, 1492 N. Harbor Drive, Embarcadero
Cost: $13 and $16 | Kids and adults in costume get a $2 discount at the door.

 America on Main Street

This festival coincides with Armed Forces Day and will honor the various cultures living in El Cajon through food, music, hay rides, crafts and lots more.

 The Grand Avenue Festival

Formerly the Escondido Street Faire, this event will have kids rides, a home improvement show, arts and crafts vendors, bands, a climbing wall and more.
