Imperial Avenue Street Festival
The Imperial Avenue Street Festival returns to the heart of IB with food, music, vendors, dance and step performances, a kids zone, a beer garden and more. You’ll find the free festival between 25th and 27th streets in Logan Heights.

The 10th annual TwainFest heads to Old Town Saturday, a celebration of all things old-timey. The free, family-friendly event includes live music, Mark Twain-inspired storytelling, poetry reading, games, prizes, and puppet shows. There’s also a literary costume contest and a mock election game where participants get to cast their ballots in the election of 1872.

World Bodysurfing Championships
During the World Bodysurfing Championships, 350-400 bodysurfers from around the world compete in their respective age divisions for trophies and prizes. The contest is scheduled to start at 6:30 AM each morning with age competition taking place as noted on their website.
