Peruse dozens of exhibitors – from solar panel experts and stucco pros to bathroom and kitchen renovation specialists – all under one roof. The show runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets start at $6

MCAS Miramar Air Show

Join us at the Miramar Air Show to recognize the service and sacrifice from our Vietnam War veterans. Showcasing the U.S. Navy Blue Angels demonstration team and welcome back the Patriots Jet Team. The Pumpkin Patch at Bates Nut Farm

Annual Car Show on the Circle

Enjoy all the beautiful classic vehicles and entertainment at the First Presbyterian Church of El Cajon‘s first Annual Car Show on the Circle held September 23 from 9:00 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Summer Movies in the Park

Summer Movies in the Park is a series of free outdoor movie screenings in community parks and recreation centers throughout San Diego.

Movies begin at dusk, which is about 15 minutes after sunset. People are encouraged to come early for picnics and activities.

Best of the Best Film Festival

This two-evening program features a variety of fiction and documentary short films by the students of SDSU’s acclaimed Television, Film, and New Media Production program.

One of El Cajon’s premier events, the Dinner and a Concert Series is back again this year for another stay in the center of Downtown El Cajon. Dinner and A Concert is a weekly concert and dance hosted by Downtown El Cajon Business Partners, performed on the Prescott Promenade, which is surrounded by a variety of restaurants.

Landlubbers Day

Avast, me hearties! In celebration of International Talk Like a Pirate Day, Seaport Village is hosting the third annual Landlubbers Day, a festive celebration of all things pirate. Held Saturday, September 16 from noon to 4 p.m. the free event features live music from the Jackstraws, San Diego’s very own pirate-themed band; costume and “Talk Like a Pirate” contests for kids, adults and pets; a mermaid grotto; arts and crafts; and food and drink specials from Seaport Village shops and eateries.

Fiestas Patrias: Chula Vista

Music, cultural dance performances and tasty food! Chula Vista’s Fiestas Patrias runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and features more than 20 musical and cultural dance performances, all with a beautiful view of the city’s Marina and shopping district. Enjoy yummy food, face painters, kids shows, carnival lane, a children’s area and interactive zones as well. It’s a fun day for the entire family.

Foothills Christian Church in El Cajon will host its annual Easter in the Courtyard on Saturday which includes an egg hunt boasting 14,000 Easter eggs. Also on the agenda: jumpy houses, carnival games, a shop-and-swap zone and food for sale from Ray’s BBQ.

The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch

The famous Flower Fields in Carlsbad Ranch officially opened for the season on March 1; the fields are open daily, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., through May 14. Patrons will enjoy nearly 50 acres of colorful displays of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers, which are in bloom for six to eight weeks. The famous fields also include roses, orchids, sweet pea blossoms, petunias and poinsettias.

This Sunday, there will also be an Easter service at 6:30am, as well as The Bayou Brothers performing 1-5pm.
