Event: San Diego Veterans Day Parade

veteran's dayThe San Diego Veterans Day Parade is produced by Veterans Week San Diego: President Eisenhower dedicated November 11 as Veterans Day in 1954, and called upon all citizens to participate. As Veterans Day is observed nationwide, the San Diego Veterans Day Parade recognizes the contributions of all of our Veterans from every branch of Armed Forces in all eras of service.

The 2013 Parade includes “A Tribute To Vietnam Veterans”, during the USA 50th Year Commemorative of the Vietnam War 1962 – 1975.  Vietnam Veterans will also be specially recognized. This event invites the entire San Diego community to participate in this important Veterans Day tradition, and welcome all sponsors, donations, and volunteers.

San Diego Film Festival Preview

A Two-Night Preview Event Presented by SILO in Makers Quarter

SILO in Makers Quarter will debut a film selected by the SD Film Festival Committee, paired with live art installations, the East Village Film Contest showcase, and Makers of all sorts. Patrons will enjoy local craft beer, specially crafted cocktails, and gourmet food trucks. Patrons will be encouraged to use alternative modes of transportation to and from the event. Free Bike Valet parking will be provided. Please leave outside food and beverages at home.
