Event: Fall Back Festival

San DiegoThis San Diego neighborhood reverts back to 1880 on Sunday with a carnival featuring gold panning, candle-dipping, butter-churning demonstrations, free food and a photo studio where you can take a family portrait in Wild West outfits.

The Ocean Beach community is celebrating its 125th anniversary with the 33rd annual Ocean Beach Street Fair and Chili Cook-Off Festival. The fair features live music on six stages, vendors, artists, rides and a beer garden. This year adds Equinox laser tag and a giant water slide, located at Saratoga Park. Don’t forget to taste this year’s amateur chili recipes from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will also be a community mural project celebrating O.B.’s milestone.
