San Diego Blues Festival

Billy Gibbons & Friends will headline this year’s San Diego Blues Festival at the Embarcadero. Tickets start at $30 and the proceeds benefit the San Diego Food Bank, which helps feed and provide additional support to needy families.

El Cajon Dinner and a Concert

One of El Cajon’s premier events, our Dinner & a Concert Series is back again this year in the center of Downtown El Cajon. Dinner & A Concert is a weekly concert and dance hosted by Downtown El Cajon Business Partners, performed on the Prescott Promenade, which is surrounded by a variety of restaurants. Thousands of people from all over San Diego County arrive to see and listen to many of our local bands and musicians. Join us Friday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for a great time and great food from our downtown restaurants.

Sculpture in the Garden

The sprawling botanical garden in Encinitas (230 Quail Gardens Drive) is featuring the sculpture work of 30 artists through the month of April. See the artwork, ranging from whimsical to abstract, set against a backdrop of dragon trees, rare fruit gardens, bamboo groves and ponds.

22nd San Diego Latino Film Festival

The San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF) is an 11-day juried film/video exhibition of work celebrating Latino artists and Latino genre. The festival hosts guest filmmakers’ appearances, workshops, live music, art exhibitions, and gala celebrations.

Temecula St. Patrick’s Day 5K and 15K

St Patricks DayThird annual event. Race through country roads and vineyards as you wind your way to the finish line and a glass of green champagne in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

Race entry includes a champagne tasting and a signature glass to keep.

2015 San Diego St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival

The Annual San Diego St. Patrick’s Day Parade (largest Parade west of the Mississippi) will step off on Saturday, March 14th, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. on Fifth Avenue at Laurel Street as thousands of marchers and spectators gather to celebrate the Patron Saint of Ireland.
Following the parade, an event filled Irish Festival in Balboa Park features live entertainment on 2 Stages. In the morning we have Irish Step Dancers and then we have a full afternoon line-up with Irish Folk singers and bands. All day there are Craft Booths, Food Booths, a Beer Garden and a Kids Zone with rides.
