San Diego Winter Brew Fest

This special 1-day only fest will celebrate craft beverages from California and beyond and features live local music, food, and other vendors. Sample amazing brews from over 30 breweries and listen to some great live music. Sample throughout the night with your commemorative cup.

Camp Shred

Surf Ride and SURFER have teamed up to bring Camp Shred, the world’s largest surf demo, back to San Elijo Campground in Cardiff by the Sea, Calif., February 24-25. The sixth annual event once again brings the best surfing brands and thousands of their loyal consumers together for a fun weekend of surfing while giving back to California State Parks.

The free and open to the public festival, also featuring music, entertainment, food trucks, acai bowls from Sambazon, coffee from iVibe Coffee, and a beer garden, will run 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM on Saturday and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday. Proceeds from the Pizza Port Beer Garden will benefit California State Parks, specifically the Friends of Cardiff and Carlsbad State Beaches (FCCSB).

36th Annual San Diego Chinese New Year Fair

The 36th Annual San Diego Chinese New Year Fair is coming on Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25.

Celebrate the year of the Dog with 20,000 of your closest friends on the corner of 3rd Avenue and J Street in downtown San Diego. The fair will go on, rain or shine.

Karamu Community Festival

Princess Day

Join Grossmont Center for the ultimate Princess Meet & Greet! The Little Mermaid is making a splash at Grossmont Center and she can’t wait to be part of your world!

San Diego Jewish Film Festival

Now in its 28th year, the San Diego Jewish Film Festival has become one of the largest and most highly acclaimed Jewish Film Festivals in the country. Today, with more than 17,000 ticket holders, SDJFF is the most widely attended annual Jewish cultural event in San Diego. The 11-day Festival features over 80 screenings of international films at five theatre venues.

Seas ‘n’ Greetings

The magic of the holidays meets the magic of the underwater world at Birch Aquarium during Seas ‘n’ Greetings, a month-long holiday celebration featuring SEAsonal activities for the whole family.

From December 1 to 31, Birch Aquarium  is transformed into a holiday wonderland. Deck the Hall (of Fishes) and get into the holiday spirit every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and check the schedule for special appearances by Scuba Santa as well as themed animal encounters, a scavenger hunt, and fun photo opportunities. On Saturdays and Sundays, things are even more festive with live music and two daily dive shows. The schedule changes daily, so check the calendar for details. All Seas ‘n’ Greetings activities are included with admission.

Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary presents another holiday season of outdoor ice skating with support from SENTRE Inc., NBC 7 San Diego, ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station and many friends of Rady Children’s.

Holiday by the Bay

The 5th Annual Giving Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 24th at 6:30 p.m. at the Headquarters at Seaport Village’s courtyard. On Saturday, November 25, 2017, the Hilton San Diego Bayfront will commence its 2nd Annual Holiday by the Bay Ice Skating celebration. From November 24, 2017 to December 18, 2017, USO San Diego invites members of the community to drop off gifts for children.

When: Friday and Saturday, Nov. 24 and 25; Nov. 24 – Dec. 18

Liberty Station Tree Lighting & Holiday Festivities

Gather your loved ones in Liberty Station’s North Promenade for live entertainment from 5:00pm to 6:00pm and then gaze upon the 88-foot Norfolk Pine Tree as it is lit up by a patient family of Rady Children’s Hospital at 6:15pm. Throughout the evening there will be entertainment, shopping and more throughout the neighborhood.  Shopping will be set in Central Promenade, next to the ice rink, with local vendors selling holiday goodies, gifts and more.

Christmas Arts, Crafts & Vintage Market

Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center will host this three-day craft fair featuring more than 80 artisans selling their homemade goodies and fine art. While visitors shop, musicians will perform live. Free hayrides with Santa Claus will be offered on Friday and Saturday between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Global Winter Wonderland: ‘Circus of Light’

This 17-acre holiday festival makes its way to San Diego for the first time ever this season, setting up at SDCCU Stadium through Jan. 7, 2018. The family-friendly international celebration features the largest display of traditional Chinese lanterns outside of China, plus acrobatics performances, carnival rides, holiday-themed activities, games, food and shopping. The little ones can even write letters to Santa Claus and visit sections like Toyland, Candyland and the North Pole. Global Winter Wonderland will open daily at either 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m., but is closed on some dates. Pomegranate Days With The Camels

The 7th Annual Pomegranate Days at the Oasis Camel Dairy hosts camel encounters and rides, pomegranate/apple feeding with the camels, a real family circus under the Big Top, our popular mini Sheep Town petting corral and our famous, Wild West Turkey Stampede!
