San Diego county events this weekend‘Kick Start’ Art Exhibition: Opening Reception

“Kick Start” is the latest art exhibition on display at the San Diego Watercolor Society’s gallery in the Arts District at Liberty Station. The exhibition’s opening reception is Friday night and will feature about 100 ready-to-hang paintings for sale, plus a chance to mix and mingle with fellow art enthusiasts over some wine and snacks.

Masters of Illusion

Who Dunnit?

Seaport Village is a scavenger hunt style Murder Mystery Adventure that lasts approximately 2 hours. You will visit several of Seaport Village’s most popular destinations while solving a murder mystery. This tour is an interactive self-guided tour with check-in points along the way.

San Diego Beer Festival

The 7th annual San Diego Brew Fest returns to Liberty Station, and promising another fun filled day with beer, food trucks, and music. The event will feature dozens of local local and international craft beers, as well as San Diego’s most popular food trucks (food sold separately).

Oceanside International Film Festival 2016

North County San Diego’s largest film festival will show films from the U.S., Spain, Greece, Singapore, Ireland, Turkey, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Canada, Denmark, Switzerland, and Australia. The lineup is divided into family-friendly and mature audiences days, and consists of special screening blocks to suit everybody’s tastes.

Summer Food Truck Festival and Campout

Spend an evening on the farm with family and friends at the annual Summer Food Truck Festival & Campout. 9 of San Diego’s favorite food trucks will be here. Enjoy live music from Calico Ridge on the Bates Stage from 5:00 – 9:00. Snow’s Pony rides, petting corral, face painting and a scavenger hunt make this a fun event for the entire family. Reservations are required (for a fee) if you want to campout.

Event: Bates Nut Farm Craft Fair

Bates Nut Farm will be hosting their “Santa’s Coming!” Craft Fair this weekend.

Over 80 artisans will be selling a variety of handmade crafts and fine art. Each day live bands perform on the Bates stage from 12:00 – 3:00. Friday is Jazz, Saturday features the Ash Street Ramblers, and the Honky Tonk Kings will perform on Sunday.
