Currently, the median home price for San Diego county is at $415,000. Local real estate leaders make predictions on 2014’s real estate market.
In an interesting recent article by U-T San Diego, local real estate leaders were asked where they thought the San Diego real estate market might be headed in 2014. Currently, the median home price for San Diego county is at $415,000.
Linda Lee, president of the Greater San Diego Association of Realtors, believes that (along with the other experts the article’s author asked this question to) in 2014 home prices will rise from where they are now. She cites San Diego’s “warm weather, and with the job market steadying” the demand for housing to increase, thus upping the median home price.
While Lee predicted the highest increase in home prices at 21 percent higher than 2013, all of the real estate professionals quoted in the article believe that 2014 will bring along an increase in home prices, ranging from three to 21 percent higher than the current median price of $415,000.
This upcoming year could be a good one for home sellers, based on this article!
